On Failure

Failure is not necessarily what you think.

Failure is not necessarily what you think.

Failure is something we all face and dread. But what if you see failure as success: it’s a lesson.

Failure can be the exact thing we need to reinvent, recreate, restore or reconnect with a change needed in our ideas, friendship, relationship or career.

Think about the word mistake. That is all it is, a "mistake," and all mistakes can be corrected, edited, or changed when we change our perspective. Often I say to myself, "there are no mistakes, only experiences." I am not sure where I first heard this expression but I have learned to say it often.

When we see our mistakes as opportunities, it changes how we see the situation. Opportunities come with learning and mistakes are learning experiences. So I recommend you try to see failure as the opportunity to learn and grow.
